Mother's Day 2013

It was a special Mother's Day. When I woke up the kids were there with my breakfast- they all made cards for me that told different things about me: Cullen said I was 17, Ava said my favorite thing to do is to read my Bible and relax, Ethan said I was good at helping people.  We went to church and heard a wonderful message and then off to my brothers to celebrate my wonderful mother. Every time I read this scripture I think of her- "Strength and honor are her clothing, she shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom. And her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.  Her children rise up and call her blessed, Her husband also and he praises her." Proverbs 31:25
I am so blessed to have 3 wonderful children that are smart, caring, loving and well-rounded. God has blessed me beyond what I could have ever imagined.

my mom

My sweet mom, who loves to swing on her swing- and give you hugs and kisses.
She is honest, loving and caring
She loves her children and grandchildren
she will do anything for you
she has been a loyal and faithful wife for 57 years
she loves the Lord
and you can always beat there will never be any kind of drama in her house
If I can be half the woman she is one day - I will be happy!

the best thing about having a little brother

you can talk him into helping you with your chores!

the best girls day ever

Ava and I every now and then get to have a girls day-
So today was our day.
Agenda: Shopping, Cheesecake Factory and more shopping

At the end of the day we left the mall after 9 hours of shopping!

We had the best day trying on clothes- talking, laughing, giggling and just being girls.

I love having a little girl, it is the best thing in the world.

Ava is such a fashionista everywhere we go people compliment her on her outfits. I love her spunk, I love her silliness, I love her everything!

Evans Family Stay'n Healthy...

Nathan is back at the gym
I am training for my 5k
just by seeing us the kids have started doing things
Ava has gone 1 month no soda's! We are so proud of her-
She is eating salads for her lunches too!

Everyday the kids ride their bikes around the whole neighborhood
Ava is swimming 3 times a week for an hour and
Ethan plays a lot of baseball so he is running, running, running

We eat healthy but now we are going more organic and cutting stuff out to lose some pounds-
Hopefully this will stick and the kids will do these things when they are adults!
