 Cullen is so excited! He is finally on a team! His first game went so well!  He is the tallest one out there. Cullen was very aggressive and he made the final score. They won and he was thrilled. I am so proud of him.

tonight's prayers

tonight Cullen said his prayers, "God please bless mommy, daddy, ava, ethan, fuzzy pants, all my friends may they have a good day tomorrow and people that don't know Jesus we need to tell them about Him."

Cullen looked under his arm and sang "I'm a man, I'm a man, I'm a man," when he thought he saw a hair.


We were in the car and I said, "The Lord always provides... then I paused for a second and Cullen spoke up and said, "awesomeness!"



At Aunt Nat-Nat's here are a few things I heard Cullen say to Hudson, "Man down!" when they feel in the mud.
"Be a man Hudson, jump."

First day of school 2014-2015

I can't believe it! Our fourth year homeschooling. Wow. If you would have told me I would have lasted this long I would have laughed. I know with my whole heart God gives me the strength and patience every day to teach my sweet children and I am so thankful. 

Cullen starts Kindergarten, Ava's in 5th and Ethan is in 3rd/4th.

We also started back with our classical conversation group at C3 and the kids were so excited!

They all got wonderful teachers. It is going to be a good year..

Ava starts tennis this year, basketball and playing the piano for the 4th year.

Ethan baseball and basketball, playing the drums for the 3rd year.

my sweet sister

God knew I would need someone in my life to support me, love me, shop with me, laugh with me, cry with me and love my children. My sweet sister, Rosemary.

making new friends

Ava was devastated when she found out her best friend Rayna was moving to FL.
I told her that God always has a plan for our lives. He would take care of Ava and He would place a new friend in her life. Over the summer she has become really good friends with sweet Isabelle from church. She is also homeschooled. I am excited to see how this friendship grows. God is so good.

Hershey Park, PA

 Cullen has waited for 2 years to go back to Hershey Park so he could right the big rides. Boy was he so excited to get there. We had the best time. Great way to end our summer.

Our new beach house

Ocean Isle here we come. We have looked and looked for something we liked. We looked a lot at Morehead but there was something about Ocean Isle we loved. We were at the right place at the right time. The family excepted our offer and here we go. It needs just a few things worked on so it will feel like our home. I can't wait for May 31, 2015! We are living at the beach all SUMMER!

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful Church family. 

Beaufort, NC

Since we do not have a beach house this year we decided to rent a condo for 3 weeks.  We had some trouble the first day. The four runner I was driving just stopped working while I was going 70mph, yes, stopped. It was very scary. Then the boat Nathan, Ava and Ethan were on stopped in the middle of the inlet and I did not know where they were for 45 min. because Nathan did not have his phone. Very Scary. God was looking after us that day with the car and boat. Both times we were safe and had help. Well there's a way to start a vacation!  It rained a lot so we went home a lot but when we were there it was beautiful. The view was the best part about it. I can't describe it. In the morning I would wake up and have my coffee and watch the boats go out. In the afternoon we would sit and watch the sun go down. Just amazing. I did celebrate my 37th b day here and it was so nice. Aunt Nat-Nat,Uncle Greg and the boys came for 2 days to play! I was so proud of myself at the end of the trip I had to drive the boat all by myself to meet Nathan at the loading dock, I had to drive the boat on the ramp then on the trailer so Nathan could strap it on. I did great. Nathan was so proud of me and I was super proud of myself! Overall it was a wonderful time.
