Times Three: March 2013

today was a good day...-

it was a beautiful day- we got out all the summer toys for the yard and the kids played all afternoon-
they squired each other with water, they dug up worms they played play doh and ran and ran. I love spring and they do too!!!!! Cullen never takes naps but today he collapsed - it was a good day!

Oh yeah! Our new reclining sectional is here and we are sooooooooooooooo happy!!!!! Lot's of naps in our future!

Tonight I found this song she wrote me- it brought a smile to my face and warmed my heart! My sweet, loving Ava Grace. No one has every written something so sweet to me other than Nathan and I will cherish this forever.

Dear Mother I love you and I want you to know, I think of you often wherever I go.
You lift me up your like a walking sunshine I am lucky to have a great mother like mine. Your endless love makes you special and rare I'm always amazed by how much you care. What you've given me I can never repay, thank you mom on your 35th birthday.

It's your birthday mom so I will raise a cheer. Without you, my special loving mom, I would not be here yes, I owe it all to you, Mom from the time I was small you encouraged me in everything and tried not to let me fall. Throughout my life your caring brightened each and every minute and I'm so glad to have you in it.

Family

Family is so special. Most of our family was able to come and celebrate Ava and Ethan's baptism. One of their biggest fans was able to come! Hudson!
He was excited to see Cullen and Cullen was excited to measure Hudson to make sure he was still smaller than him!

Ava and Ethan were baptized at Hocutt Baptist Church. We could not be more excited and proud of our two children. They have a heart for the Lord even at such an early age. I have prayed many nights that they would have a relationship with God and know that unconditional love He has for us. Even when we fail He loves us anyway. What an amazing God.

Our Easter Tree

The month of March we are going over the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. We made our Easter tree to remind us everyday the real reason of Easter and that Jesus died for our sins because HE loves us. We have Resurrection eggs and everyday the kids open and new egg and it has something in it to symbolize the cross and the resurrection. I have enjoyed doing this with the kids and watching the mini series The Bible on the History channel. Ava has read her whole bible so she knows the people and what is going on. I am so proud of her. Ethan know a lot to. They both know more than I ever knew at that age and I am proud.
