9 year old words.....

This was laying on Ava's desk and I saw it tonight as I was putting her to bed.

today riding in the car, Cullen had put his arm around Ethan and said, "You are awesome and actually funny too!"

I was informed today.....

that Cullen wants another baby and he was NOT giving up!

I said why in the world would you want a new baby and he said, "I want to be the boss!"

He is dying to be the boss of something, sometimes Fuzzy Pants the cat will listen to him if he has kitty treats but that's it.

China

 Last year we had to pick a state to do a presentation on for homeschool. This year it was time to do a country. We chose China because it has so much to talk about and we are studying a lot of China's Ancient History in our History time. I was so proud of Ava and Ethan getting up and presenting to the crowd. They spoke clear and loud. Great job guys! Cullen had fun with his 2 best friends Jeb Lemmonds and Aaron Hairr.

Our Valentine's

 Every year we get our our love trees and add names to them. New friends, new family members. This year Cullen added his two friends Aaron and Jeb that have been such good friends to Cullen. Ava added sweet Rayna. God has blessed Ava with such a wonderful Christian friend.  Ethan added his new friend Daniel and all of them put Jesus on their tree.  Plus, Baby Brody and Baby Braxton are new to our family this year!

We anxiously awaited Ava's Valentine entertainment. Every year she decorates the playroom, cooks a dessert, writes a song for us and performs. We all get a ticket and can't come to the party until Ava tells us.  Every year is wonderful and we just love it. This year she make red velvet cupcakes the boys absolutely loved! Her song was the sweetest song and her performance amazing. Plus she made handmade gifts for all of us. What a special little girl we have that takes time out of her life to show her family she loves them. Such a kind and selfless heart. I am so proud to be her mother.

 The boys made their Valentines for us and we had a wonderful dinner. It was a perfect Valentine's Day. Just my sweet little family that I love more than words.

Ava's song:  I don't know what I would do without you. Everyday I would probably fall on the stairs. Please come back to me, I am so lucky to have a family like mine and I have one thing to say, you are my Valentine! Valentine! oooooo Valentine!

Favorite things....

I have a lot of favorite things with the kids but this is at the very top. I love walking to church with my children. Bible in hand and all dressed up ready to learn about God. It makes me so happy.
Especially today when Ava and Ethan decided to be baptized and accept Jesus into their heart. I am one proud mama! God is good!

Annual Ski Trip

 It is that time of year again.... Snowshoe West Virgina- We love to ski - It was cold but great snow to ski on! There was a lot of snow. Cullen started ski school this year and he did great. He said he learned his pizza and french fries!  Ava did amazing- we did greens and blues. Ethan was
Great. His confidence was up this year, he even went down a blue. We are so proud of the kids.
It was a wonderful family week skiing, playing monopoly and having fun. Ava decided on one of her rides up the ski lift she would talk in British to a stranger. It was hilarious- That girl is something.
