best friends....

I am so thankful for my children's friends.  Aaron and Cullen are best buddies and love to run and play. Aaron is always writing Cullen and card telling him he is thinking of him.

Mother's Day 2014

What a perfect day. The kids had everything planned out. Breakfast in bed was delicious. They all made me sweet cards. Ethan surprised me with my favorite bible verse he had written and it is pretty long and my favorite sweets. Ava wrote me a poem and Ethan had been practicing the song Proud Mary on the drums and he surprised me with the song. They are each so thoughtful and I am so blessed. At lunch we had my family over and Nathan's mom for Mother's day. It was a lovely lunch and such a beautiful day.
I am so thankful God has blessed me with Ava, Ethan and Cullen. They are so precious to me.

Cullen's best buddy

 Cullen has a few things in his life that he is passionate about. First is Ethan. Ethan could tell Cullen to eat dirt and swim with sharks and Cullen would do it. Fuzzy pants is up there with Ethan. Cullen thinks the world of this cat and I think she thinks a lot of him too. She let's him do as he wishes, bunny ears and all.

Honey Bees

 Our neighbor Mr. Charles is retired but he still helps at NC State in preserving and saving the honey bees. We have been studying them in Science so I asked if he would come talk to us more in detail. It was a very educational experience and I am so glad he took time to share his information with the kids.

nothing like cousins.....

Nothing like sleepovers with cousins. Running, playing, riding 4 wheelers, tractors, eating honey suckles and having fun. I am so glad the kids have cousins they can make memories with.

sweet ethan

Ava fell and got hurt after I helped her I was in the kitchen and saw this. Ethan had written her name on our prayer list. Sweet, Sweet boy.

3 amigos

I am so glad Ava has 2 really good girlfriends Layton York and EllaGrace Bussemas in our neighborhood. They have the best time together and are making wonderful memories. I love it.

3. having a clean porch so my girlfriends can come over and chat

Swim bug...

It's that time again... SWIM TEAM!!!
I love watching Ava swim.
And yes, I am the crazy mom at the end of the lane screaming her name! She says thank goodness her ears are under the water so she can't hear me! Ha!Ha!

Field trip to Channel 5

 Today we went on a field trip with Mr. Ron Walker to Channel 5. He is a friend of Nathan's that worked there a few years ago. We were able to walk around where they broadcast the news. The kids were able to stand in front of the weather screen and be invisible in green. Cullen loved all the cameras and Ava loved being on camera. It was neat to see the actual News crew in person. It was a great experience.

Cullen: " Mom Georgia my best friend at church. She is so beautiful. Is she my age?"
Me: "Yes, she is."
Cullen: " Oh, so we can grow up and she is a mommy and I am a daddy and we can get married."


The other day were in town getting flowers at Lee's and I did not see Cullen and I pulled the cart over his foot. He started to cry and when I turned around I was hugging him and telling him I was so sorry and he looked at me kissed me on the cheek and said "Momma you so beautiful." That boy melts my heart.
