friday nights- movie night at the evans house

i started this a few months ago when Nathan went out of town and it has just stuck-
Friday we go to blockbuster and I let them pick a movie- that is a treat to watch
ava goes straight for the girly stuff- high school musical and princess's
ethan likes anything that has pirates
they look forward to movie night
we pop popcorn, have drinks and relax
well last friday night Nathan introduces Star Wars to Ethan
and he loved it- so he thought it would be fun to watch a Star Wars movie every friday night
well we are all in our pjs, have our popcorn and drink- and the movie starts
ethan never blinks- he is mesmerized but ava (my child) starts asking questions
daddy "what's he doing?", "why are they dressed that way?", "luke does not know who his dad is?", "what's going to happen now?"... and on and on.... Nathan was going crazy.... I do this to him all the time when we are watching shows-- it was so funny, needless to say we never finished Star Wars... I knew that would not last!
so next week back to Veggie Tale movies and cinderella:)
"love tree"

last valentine's we started the "love tree" for Ava. We found a stick outside and put it in a can with rocks and we made hearts to hang on it. Ava would tell me someone she loved and we added them to the tree. This year we got it back out and Ava added more names- new friends she has made this year. Ethan started a tree also. He is so funny. When I asked him who he loved he thought for a second and said "Ethan Wallace and Christian". Himself and his friend from school- that was it. Later he did add more names-

ava lost her first tooth

Ava's tooth has been loose for a few weeks and tonight she decided to let her daddy try to pull it.
She was so so brave. I remember how scared I was the 1st time my mom pulled my tooth, not knowing if it would hurt or not. One pull and it was out. She is so excited! She said she was big now. Earlier today we went to sign her up for kindergarten- she was so excited! What a way to end her day... Now we wait for the tooth fairy!!!!!!!
"computer crashes"
I never thought I would rely on my computer so much- some times I feel guilty for being on it-
Keeping up with all my pictures and making our home videos on dvd's becomes a weekly "things to do".
Plus keeping up with friends and family (which I love to do). All came to an end last week-
My computer crashed, yes it just went black- and of course I have never backed anything up- always thinking it will never happen to me- well it did. So when I found out they could not get anything back I did not cry, I went into shock- I could talk about it and really not get upset- until today when I got my computer back and I turned it on and everything was gone- no pictures that I have saved for 6 years, no email address's, no folders, no family movies - nothing- I started to cry and cry and I am still crying, and I tell myself it is just a computer- things could be worse, I have to look on the bright side, I had the pictures developed so I have them in a scrapbook- I do have my family dvd's on disk- which really is all that matter to me, but just the thought of having to start all over makes my cry some more!
addicted to 24
About a month ago Corey Lee told Nathan about this tv show he should watch. So Nathan got Season 1 just to try it out.
I had no idea what it was about, but I remember seeing clips of it on tv and that did not interest me. One night Nathan asked me to watch it with him.. I was feeding the baby so I thought I would watch some and if I did not like it I could go to another room. Well we stayed up that night until 3am trying to finish the 24 hours. We were hooked. I have never been so addicted to a show that I lost sleep over it... We finished Season 1 and 2 before Nathan went to Africa. But I had to wait for him to come home to start Season 3. Again last night we stayed up almost to midnight trying to finish- I normally go to bed at 9pm. This is getting out of control- -
Is there any Anonymous Help Groups for the tv show 24?
