My Little Man.....

In Ethan's little world things are so simple and sweet.....

I asked Ethan the other night what were a few of his favorite things:

Food: Hot dog, Chicken nuggets

Drink: Chocolate Milk, OJ

Fav. thing to do with his dad: play ball

Fav. thing to do with his mom: see me

Fav. place to go: Grocery Store

He brings me a smile everyday with his sweet voice and loving smile!

Hiking with my Dad
Ava loves to try new things. So a few weeks ago she asked her dad if they could go on a hike. Of course Nathan was thrilled to hear his 4 year old asking him to go hike. So they plan their big day at Umstead park. Ava's idea of hiking was 20 miles.... Well they made it 3, then off to Subway (Ava's favorite place to eat), then somehow they managed to go by Claire's (Ava's favorite store).... It was a wonderful Father/Daughter day, and I am so thankful Nathan knows how important spending one on one time with his children is.... He is such a good daddy!

Who are your rooting for?

"WHO ARE YOU ROOTING FOR?"

This morning my 4 1/2 year old came up to me and asked me this..."So mom, who are you rooting for, Barack Obama or John Mcain"? I was so taken back I was quiet at first and then I told her my answer and then she went on to tell me she would go for Barack Obama, just because.....Later in the day Ava and her daddy had a long lesson on Republicans and Democrats!

A few months ago some of my friends created blogs and emailed them to me. I had no idea what a blog was and I think I am pretty much up to date with the outside world (some days). Anyway, they all suggested I try it and after seeing what they have done I think it is the sweetest thing.
