craig lee coffee

"Craig Lee Coffee"

I look forward to my coffee break every morning when I wake up. Normally, Cullen wakes up and eats and goes back to sleep while Ava and Ethan are still sleeping. So I get about a 20 min. window of silence with my coffee! Let me tell you about this coffee! A few months ago when we had the Cornhole Tourn. Craig Lee brought a bag of coffee for us to try. I made a cup- and since then I have been hooked. I call it my "Craig Lee" coffee b/c I can't remember the name he called it. I have been very careful not to use too much each morning. I wanted it to last - well tom. will be my last cup of "Craig Lee" coffee and I am so sad I can't even tell you. I don't know what I am going to do. It is the best coffee I have ever had and that is saying a lot since Starbucks is my absolute favorite!!! It is very smooth and not too strong. I am really hoping Craig can open a coffee business b/c I have got to get some more of that coffee!!!!!!

Could I be going INSANE?

"Could I be going INSANE?"
Cullen is 7 months old now! I can't believe it. He is sitting up, cutting his second tooth and taking a big boy bath. I think I am in denial b/c Ava and Ethan were weaned by 8 months and Cullen hardly knows what a bottle is. I have not started the process with him and I keep telling myself to go ahead-at this point I don't think he will be fully on the bottle by 8 months- but he has to be weaned by 8 1/2 months or he is going to Vegas with Nathan and I in August-
(I don't think Nathan will go for that)
And then it happened
the other night Nathan and I were having our Anniversary dinner and this is our time once a year to sit, eat, relax, reflect on the past year together and talk about our future. And I said it- it just came out.... I WANT ONE MORE. NO I was not drinking- I wish I could say I was. Nathan just about choked on his Sushi- He said I was either trying to kill him or trying to talk him into getting (snipped).
What am I thinking, I just got back into shape, Cullen is sleeping through the night, all I have to do is get him on the bottle and we are home free---
Please tell me I am going insane and need some sort of medication!

"my friend cole"

"my friend cole"

today cole oliver came to play with ethan. they are so cute! i enjoyed listening to their conversations- i just giggled and giggled- it is so funny what 3 year old little boys will say and do!

for example:

Cole was in Ethan's bathroom and the door was shut but I could not find Ethan. Just then I heard this:
Ethan: "COLE, I did not know you have Spiderman underwear."

Cole: "I like Spiderman."

Ethan: "Just like me, want to see mine?"

next conversation-

I was getting snack ready

Ethan: "Cole, you llergic to white raisins or brown, yes or no?"

Cole: "They make me throw up."

Ethan: " Well, you llergic to granola bars?"

Cole: "I don't know, is peanuts in them?"

Ethan: "I don't know, better eat goldfish."

gotta love those little boys!

On the Farm

"On the Farm"

I can tell Nathan misses living in the country on several acres and some days I do too. I really want my children to have experiences like I had when I was little but then again I love where we live, we are so close to everything and we can't have it both ways right now so Nathan and his Dad got together and started to get the farm land ready for cows. This would be a great way for the kids to have some what of a "country" experience and learn responsibility. Ethan has loved to go to the farm. He has helped put up the fence, dig the pond and pick out the cows! I love to hear him talk about the farm. Esp. when he talks about "Fluffy" the cow! Same name he gave his fish but no matter, it's a good name....

"Lost" Vegas

"Lost Vegas"

While Nathan was in Vegas Ava talked to him on the phone and one conversation went like this:

Ava: "Daddy, did you find what you were looking for on your trip?"

Nathan: "What was I supposed to be looking for?"

Ava: "Well it is called "Lost" Vegas."

oh, the mind of a 5 year old!
