Happy Birthday Daddy.  We surprise Dad with gifts and banner and donuts. I did not realize the candles were trick candles. It took all of us a few minutes to figure out why they kept lighting back up on their own. We all had a good laugh.

What Cullen is saying at age 7

Today it was just Cullen and I and boy did we have some conversations.

Cullen:  God gave us all the freedom to make good choices and bad choices. Bad choices would be stealing, killing and being a Democrat.

Cullen tearing up: I will miss Ava and Ethan when they go to college.

One thing about Cullen he loves his family so much.

We were finishing up school and Ethan was waiting for Cullen to finish reading so they could play. I looked at Cullen and he had huge tears coming out of his eyes. And I said, "Why are you crying, are you sad?" and Cullen said, "Mom these are joy of tears. Haven't you ever heard of joy of tears? You have sad tears and then you can have joy tears."  He said he was happy because Ethan was waiting for him to play.  Cullen loves him so much.

"Mom, I will come and visit you and Dad when I am old."

"I want to keep my baby teeth so when I am older I can remember being little."

"God 1st, Jesus 2nd, Family, animals, then everything else."

"Boom!!! Feel the burn!'

"Ethan, GOD knows when you are lying!"

Cullen will just walk up to Ava or Ethan and put his arm around them and say, "I love you."

I said, "Cullen you are so Handsome today."  Cullen said, "I know, it's Natural."

Cullen likes to comb his hair to the side really nice when his hair is wet and put on his robe and he will say, "I'm a business man."

Ava and Sylvie

Ava has had a great 6th grade year and to top it off she met a girl named Sylvie that is her age. They have so much in common. They like to sing, dance, drama, cook etc. I am so thankful Ava found a friend who has good moral and comes from a wonderful family.

Easter 2016

AHHH! Our happy place. When we get here it is like a weight has been lifted off of us and when we leave we are truly sad. We came down for 12 days for spring break. We did some homeschool , went to the beach, worked on the house and enjoyed being with each other. I am so thankful for this house where we can get away and make special memories.

my sweet boy

I always will remember your sweet face when you sleep on your pallet with your stuffed animals. I wish I could keep you little. I love you so much.

Lion King

Nathan got us awesome tickets for the Lion King. It was amazing. I don't think Cullen blinked! The colors, the music, the singing... Amazing...
What a wonderful family night.

Nothing like....

Little Women

Ava has worked so hard this year. I am so proud of her. She was in her first play. She had a few speaking parts and she did awesome. She looked like a natural up on the stage. She loved every minute of it. She loves the stage.
