this guy

This guy has been my rock the past few weeks. He has gone beyond what I could have ever asked. When I couldn't he did. When I needed to cry he has been right there. I am so blessed to have him. I love you my love.

testing

Cullen has been struggling the past few months with acid reflux and breathing. We have seen several doctors and now he has had some test done to see what is going on. We did not know this at the time but just a few weeks later covid hit and schools were shut down. Everyone had to do school from home. Cullen never had anymore episodes. We learned stress can cause acid reflux problems. Cullen was going to school for the first time. He has always been homeschooled and the transition was causing stress and we did not know it. The symptoms never returned.

2.24.20

Today was the funeral. My guys look so handsome.

Mom would be so proud. I have not been back to Pilot Baptist Church since

we had Dad's Funeral.  It was a hard day. It would be the beginning of a long road of

grief and in the end a breakthrough of growth for me.

2.22.20

In the early morning my momma went to be with her Lord and Savior and my sweet Daddy who missed her so. What a celebration that was. I can just close my eyes and see mom running into their arms and just so happy.

She was my example of love, kindness, forgiveness, serving others and loving Jesus. She was my example of how to love my husband unconditionally and how to raise my children selflessly. She was bold win her faith and she loved to share Jesus with everyone. She never needed or wanted much. She found joy and beauty in the smallest things. She always put others before herself and served faithfully at church. I will miss her terribly but I know I'll see her again. God has been so good to me. He gave me two amazing Godly parents that loved me beyond measure and I am so thankful.

saying goodbye

Today I went to see Mom. She was sleeping. Last Saturday the kids and Nathan came to say goodbye. She looked at them and said "I love you."  Today I read to her from her Bible.  Genesis 1.
In the beginning.
Mom loved this passage. She never woke up but I pray she heard my voice. This was the last time I was with my mom.
