Maui, Hawaii November-December 2016
We went back to our favorite place. Maui. We stayed at Wailea Ekahi Village in Wailea. Our condo was walking distance to our beach, we had delicious oranges growing outside our patio. Garrett Pope works for Nathan and he came out for a week to stay with us. We visited our favorite places. Flatbread Pizza in Paia, Mama's Fish house in Paia, Maui Pies, Lahaina Grill in Lahaina, Old Lahana Luau, Panda Express, Coconut's Fish Cafe, Road to Hana, Island Gourmet Markets, and playing on Ulua Beach. We saw the most beautiful sunsets and Ava turned 13 on our trip. Special Memories. Aloha Maui.
Welcome to New York....it's been waiting for you.....
Ava and I went to NYC! It was amazing.. We had the best time once we got to our hotel room. Finding an uber driver that spoke English was interesting but we found one. Our welcoming to NY was a policeman yelling at our uber driver. We did not know if we were going to have to walk the rest of the way but it all worked out. We stayed at the Michelangelo Hotel on 51st street and 152 W. It was in the best location. We were far enough away from Times Square and we still could walk to Central Park. We walked and walked and ate and ate. We went to Serendipity and had the famous hot chocolate. We fell in love with a cuban restaurant Victor's Cafe and the Plaza Food Hall. We went to the show Wicked and we rode through Central Park on a rickshaw. It was the best weekend and I am so glad we went. Ava learned all about the subway and got to experience a big city. I will cherish this trip always.
