When Cullen reads it makes my heart so happy. I am so proud of them. Cullen has worked so hard this year and loves to read to anyone that will sit still long enough.

STOP! Growing up so fast. Today we went over to Mrs. Lisa's and Mrs. Michelle gave Ava makeup tips and hair tips. She fixed her hair and Ava was over the moon excited. I love my friends. They are so good to me and my children.

Our monthly Lunch dates are always fun. You never know where we will go, and what dessert Aunt Rosemary will get for the kids. I love her so so much and I am so thankful she is in my life. My sister  who loves me no matter what and will be there for me. I'm blessed.

Celebrating 15 years

15 years married to my love. I can't believe it! I have learned so much along the way. We went to the Moorings in Florida where we went on our honeymoon. It was so romantic. We had the best time. I don't know the last time we were together for 5 days alone. Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of life you tend to forget the reasons why you fell in love and this week I was reminded why I love Nathan so. His humor, His smartness, His eyes, His kindness, His thoughtfulness, His love for me. This was such a special trip and I am so glad we went.
Things I would tell my 22 year old self on the day I got married:
1. Marriage is hard work but if you work hard the rewards are beyond wonderful.
2. The day you get married is the day you stop being selfish. It's not about you anymore.
3. You have to be a team player everyday you have to show up ready.
4. Constant prayer for your husband everyday is a must.
5. When you are angry give yourself time to cool off then talk about it.
6. Do more listening that talking.
7. Do more supporting than nagging.
8. Love him with all you have.
9. Let him have his guy time.
10. When you have kids, time away is so important.
11. Laugh together
12. Accept his flaws and never try to fix him
13. Put God first in your lives and He will bless your marriage.
