broken nose
Tonight at Ethan's game he broke his nose sliding into third base. He did not want to stop playing the game. He finished the game with a steal to home. Afterwards he asked Nathan to take him to the hospital. My sweet Ethan has broken his first bone. He rested a lot and had many visitors bring him goodies. At dinner he surprised each one of us with a note, saying thank you for taking care of me. He was the one with the broken nose and he is thanking us. That is my kind boy.
best friends...
Date night with my E-man
We don't get to do many things by ourselves so I wanted to make sure I spent some time with my Ethan. We went to the movies and watched Teenage Ninja Turtles, we ate at Red Robin and then we went to Target to get some baseball cards for him. It was so nice just to be alone with Ethan and talk. I love him so much.
Camp Flintlock
We went on a field trip to Camp Flintlock in Four Oaks to learn about how they lived in the 17th Century. We are learning about American History right now so this was perfect. Ethan fell in love with the musket gun. Cullen loved the sword fighting. We made candles, played games, dressed up and listened to stories. We went with our friends Shandra Hairr and Sheryl Creech and their children. It was a wonderful day. At the end they shot off a cannon!
