9

How did this happen?
My oldest and my only girl is turning 9?
She is growing up so fast.
We have started to read the mommy and me books on the changes of life.... and she is wearing a sports bra- not that she needs it she just wants it.
I am in shock.
It was just yesterday we brought her home. We would take naps together and snuggle.
My sweet Ava Grace
My hope and prayer is she grows up to be an intelligent, independent woman who loves the Lord. Knowing always her father and I love her no matter what and will support her life dreams.

Ava's Presentation

Ava wrote her final paper and presented it Monday in front of her class. She even dressed up as Cleopatra since her paper was on Ancient Egypt. Her drawing was wonderful. I am so proud of her.

Creeper's Trail

Here we go!

To Creeper's Trail, Damascus,VA.

A 17 mile bike ride down the mountain beside a beautiful river. Cullen was so excited, he was the first one ready! It was a beautiful day! I was so proud of the kids because they rode the whole way. Cullen feel asleep most of the way. We stopped and had snacks and we searched for rocks.  It was such a wonderful day. The next day we went to the Caverns. Ava was so excited she thought she could actually take a stone from the cavern but instead she had to settle for the ones in the gift store.  Next was the Natural Bridge where George Washington initialed it. That was really neat. What a wonderful family trip!
