Out West Trip October 2016

We decided to take a trip Out West for 2 weeks. The kids and I flew to Vegas to meet Nathan. We arrived late afternoon and left the next morning for the Grand Canyon. The next day we woke up early to watch the sunrise over the Grand Canyon.. It was amazing. We also saw a family of elk walk right in front of the car. Our next stop was Albuquerque New Mexico to see the International Hot air balloon festival.  We woke up early again to see the sunrise and 500 hot air balloons lift off. It was another amazing site. The following day we slept in and relaxed by the pool. Next we were off to Moab, Utah to hike the fiery furnace. The drive was amazing.  The landscapes were breathtaking. We hiked the Arches, we saw the balanced rockers and the north and south windows. The red rocks up against the blue sky was just beautiful. We also had a guide to take us through the Fiery Furnace which was amazing. After we finished our hike we went to Miguels' Baja Mexican Restaurant. Wow was it good. This is Ethan's all time favorite restaurant. We like Moab a lot. It was a nice little town that reminded us of Asheville. We were supposed to go to Bryce Canyon and Zion then back to Vegas to watch KA but we had to catch a red eye home due to a hurricane that was headed for OIB. This was by far one of our most favorite trips. We can't wait to come back and finish our trip.
The kids and I flew to Las Vegas to meet Nathan. The next morning we left for the Hoover Dam. Next we drove to the Grand Canyon.
