Happy 4th at OIB

 This happened to be the week my family was down at the beach. I was so excited to get to spend the 4th with my family. One night we had everyone over to the house. Dad loved the back porch, Nathan rode them on the boat and we cooked Taco's. The kids played with their cousins all week and it was just a wonderful time. We were in the parade. It was so fun. I have never seen so many decorated golf carts. We are loving our beach house. Thankful God has blessed us with such a wonderful place.

Girls weekend at beach- boys in Tampa, FL

The boys are in Florida watching Tampa Bay Rays and so we invited The Bussemas girls to the beach. Caroline cooked and we laughed and laughed. I am so thankful Ava has Ella Grace. She has been Ava's longest friend, 8 years. They have been through a lot together and we just love them.

SURPRISE

While Ava was away at Camp I decided to Surprise her and give her an early birthday present. She wanted her room updated since she is going to be 12 and I told her ok but she had to wait until her birthday which is in 5 months. She has been talking about this for a while and she was getting impatient but I did not budge and told her she had to wait. When she got home from camp and opened the door the joy that was on her face I will never forget. I just about cried. There are few surprises we get in life and I am so glad I did this for her.

The day has come and Ava is off to Centrikids Camp without me. What will I do for 5 days without her. Oh my heart can't take it. She is so excited to sleep in a dorm and have a roommate and learn more about God. I am so thankful for our church and Pastor Brent.

Graduates 2015

I can't say enough of how proud I am of these two kids. I remember the day they were born and now they are off to College. Emily and Will have been great role models for my children. Emily is going to Campbell University and Will is going to NC State. We will miss them so much but I know they will do great things in the future.

Here we are Tampa! We planned a quick trip to go see Chris Archer play down in Tampa and guess who lives near Tampa? Yes, Ava's best, best friend Rayna.... We got to spend time with her, go to the pool, and to the games. We had the best time. Chris got us field passes so before the game we got to see them practice. Ethan got to talk to his role model Mike Trout! He got a picture with him and he was so happy. I was so excited for him. What a great trip!
