I love to see when the kids help each other, esp. when they help teach the other something. Such a special moment. Ethan teaching Cullen to write an "A" and showing him cursive. My sweet boy.

Surprise!

We surprised daddy with a fish fry at Joey's house. He thought they were going out to eat. Joey picked him up in the old Cadillac.  Family and friends were there to celebrate 85 years. It was such a special night. The cousins got to play. Brody is at the age where he wants to do everything Cullen and Ethan are doing. It is so sweet. I remember when Ethan was like that with John Micheal. Robbie said the sweetest words about Dad.  I am so blessed.  I love to see my parents together and how they look at each other 57years of marriage and momma still looks at him like she did when they met. Special so special.

End of Year Homeschool Ceremony 2014

I could not be prouder of my children. All the information they learned this year from the History time line, Latin, Math, Classical Music etc.
It was an amazing year. I am so thankful for this home school group.

Tonight Cullen's class presented all the presidents! Cullen wanted to be President Garfield. I have no idea why. He did not do much and was killed after being President 6 months but Cullen insisted! They did a GREAT job.

Ava's class sang and danced to the English Rules and Ethan's class went over Latin.

It was a wonderful night with friends celebrating our precious children.

Fuzzy pants is spoiled. She has been spoiled since the day she was born.  It is Ethan's cat but Cullen has kinda taken over. He lets her in and fixes his bed so she can go sleep on it. So needless to say when she sees Cullen she knows she knows something good is about to happen to her.

Ski diving Surprise

 Today Nathan surprised the kids and I with a treat. We went ski diving! It was amazing- The kids loved it- well Cullen not so much. He was all about it until he got in the pit with the wind. It sucked him up like he was nothing. It scared him so after that he was done.  Ethan wanted to go up and down really fast. Yes, he has the need for speed!  I actually liked it too. It was a wonderful family day. Thank you daddy! We LOVE you!!!!!!

Happy 85th Daddy!

Today is my daddy's 85th birthday. I can't imagine where I would be today if my dad and mom had not been selfless and adopted a small innocent little girl.  My dad's love has shaped my life. I am thankful for his guidance and wisdom. He is undoubtedly the finest man I know and I am so proud to be his daughter. He exudes integrity and compassion. He is kind and generous. He loves the Lord and my mother like no other. He is my hero. My sweet daddy. I love you.
