Cool Points

I have made a chart for the kids. Each gets their own. It is called Cool Points. It is not a competition. It is a way to earn points by doing good things. Manners, helping people without hesitation, using Thank you and Please, helping around the house without being asked too, etc.. I am teaching the boys to be respectful to women and hold the doors for them, also, if someone is coming behind them hold the door for them, if a women has her hands full go and help her. I want my children to help people and not worry about what others think about them.

Today at C3 in Ava's class one of the mom's miscounted and was one snack short. Ava immediately without thinking cut her snack in half and gave to the girl. No one asked her to do that, she just did.  That is what I am talking about. I was not in her class at the time later I received a very nice email from one of the moms. I also always tell my kids people are always watching us and we need to make sure we are making a positive mark on that persons life not a negative one.

I am so blessed God has given us these kind and loving children. I am so proud to be their mom.

I have story after story of how they have helped someone.

One day Allyson was here and had the baby in one arm and bags in the other. Ethan immediately saw she needed help before she could even say anything he walked over to her and asked if he could take one of the bags for her.

A.C.E.

It's winter time again and they are back in the woods!  They love to go to their spot they call ACE mountain. They made up a rap-

"You better watch out families, we are A.C.E. Dynasty!"

I love it, they will play for hours in the woods.  I love days they can go and make memories!

Ava has hit double digits. She made up a song years ago just for this special day! I just can't believe she is getting so big. We could not be more proud of her. We had a family party and then Ava had a Luau party for her girlfriends. They sang karoke most of the night. She had a wonderful time.
