Bahamas 2013

What a wonderful week! We are back and this time we are prepared. A BABYSITTER. We brought Emily with us. The kids were so excited. During the day we got in the water with dolphins, snorkeled, rode water slides, played in the pool, relaxed.... It was wonderful. The weather was perfect. Thursday the Hardees came down. At night we would go to dinner and to the casino. It was a wonderful family trip!

Precious Memory

Today as I walked around the corner I found my mom reading her Bible to Ava. I just thought to myself what a wonderful memory, a special memory to have. Things can't bring you joy but moments like these can. I love my precious mother.

small talk with Cullen

you never know where the conversation will go with Cullen.
Today I was in the bathroom painting my nails so he comes in a sits beside me. He starts to ask me questions about my toes and then he starts to ask me about my wedding ring. He wanted to know why I wear it all the time. So I told him b/c daddy gave it to me when we got married and it is so special. He said he wanted to be a daddy one day. I told him he would be. He would find a beautiful girl and fall in love. So I asked him who he thought was beautiful. I started to name some of Ava's friends and his friends and he would say no, not her. So finally I said well who do you think is beautiful? He said you mommy. My heart melted. My sweet little boy thinks I am beautiful and there is no other girl compares to me. I know one day this will change and that breaks my heart. I love him so much.

Nathan was asked if he would like to be interviewed by Fox Sports about his friend Chris Archer. He said he would and the day of the interview he asked Ava if she would like to go. He knew she would love the lights and cameras. So they got to Clayton Steak house and they interviewed Nathan. Then the lady asked if she could ask Ava a few questions and Ava was Absolutely ready!  They hooked the mic up to her and started the questions. Ava was so excited and mature. The last question they asked her if Chris was her favorite baseball player and she said, "Next to her brother Ethan, Chris was." What a sweet sister. It was a wonderful experience for Ava. Now this is her second time being on TV. She is getting to be a pro!
