I did it! I ran my first 5K!
I have never liked to run and one day I was walking really fast and I thought why not run. I immediately liked it. Later that day I saw a 5k coming to Raleigh and I called Lisa Hardee and said we have got to do this. We had 3 months to get ready. I ran every other day, I worked out. At first I could not run from my house to the main road, but after a few weeks I could do a mile. Lisa Humble helped me with my time and pacing myself. I am so proud of myself for doing this and thankful I had a friend to do it with me. Can't wait for my next one.

SUMMER IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summer is here and the slip and slide is out, the scavenger hunt is on, the eggs are being tossed and the water balloons are being thrown! Yes, it's summer and boy are we HAPPY!!!!!!!! Rain will not even stop us-
