Perfect weekend...

Last minute we decided to go to Morehead and I am glad we did. We grilled out Brats and went to a movie then the next day we slept in and got on the boat. We went tubing. The water was calm and not much traffic at all. I was able to drive some. The kids LOVED the tube. Esp. Cullen! He kept giving the thumbs up to go faster -Cullen and I rode the tube together and he said "Mom this awesome!"  it was a short but perfect weekend!

best friends...

Today Ava found out her best friend Ashlynn since kindergarten is moving. Her heart is broken. I am so sad for Ava. Ava and Ashlynn love to make up songs and sing and perform. They sing and sing and sing. They even have their own singer names. Greenville is not that far so she will see her some.

one of my favorite things.

Every morning Cullen gets in bed with me, he is half asleep and he kisses me and snuggles up beside me and goes back to sleep.  I love to hear his little feet coming down the stairs. I love his little kisses he gives me and when he says "you too mom." meaning I love you too.

One night Cullen told me he wanted me to lay with him b/c his bed was more fun than dad's bed. I asked him why and he replied "my bed have toys and legos!"

I had left Cullen for a few hours with Nathan and when I got back he said, "Mom me so worry about you." and would not leave my side the rest of the day.
I love this little boy with all my heart and more. He makes me laugh and he loves me unconditionally. My sweet, sweet Cullen Lee.

the boys had a wonderful day at papa and granny's house running through the water sprinklers and playing ghost in the graveyard.... i just love watching my little boys and hearing them laugh.....

fluffy the hermit crab..

last summer I did not let Cullen get a hermit crab so this summer I decided to let him get one while we were at the beach house. Oh, fluffy..... he has been scared to death the second Cullen picked him up and dropped him on the tile floor. Fluffy did not come out of his shell for a while, probably in shock.

Then the first night having fluffy he disappered. He was not in his cage, he was not anywhere in the beach house. Oh, we thought fluffy was dead. Cullen's first pet that he only had for one day... gone. The next day I was in the bathroom picking up towels on the floor and guess who fell out of one... YES good ole fluffy...... and still alive... Cullen said "Fluffy a good hider!"

Happy Fathers Day

we surprised nathan with a hike to his favorite place. Umstead Park- it was a wonderful day- and the boys caught crey fish- they were so proud of themselves.

It was a beautiful day and a relaxing one. We have so much to be thankful for especially our Fathers.
