It's Summer Time

Wow we are busy.... swim practice, baseball, art camp, science camp, beach, pool, parties, vbs..... we just love summer! We went to the farm to see the cows and we took the Bussemas's with us to do a little target practice... I got to shoot a gun. I was quite proud of myself- last day of school at the York's again this year the girls and boys loved the huge water slide... and the parents loved the conversation... after this AvA and I went to eat at Cheesecake factory while the boys were off to the Durham Bulls baseball game. Then Ava invited all the girls over for a sleep over.... it was a fun day! YEAH for summer!

tonight Ethan told me he wanted to read something to me so I went up to his room and he got out his Bible and started to read John 13. He told me he wanted to read a chapter a night. Out of all the books he could have picked to want to read my 6 year old chose the most important one. I am so overjoyed with happiness- God is good!

and the results are....

Ava and Ethan both scored extremely well on their test. I am so relieved that all the hard work we all did this first year of homeschool paid off. I am thankful and so blessed. God is good!

Homeschool Field day!

Relay races, egg toss, water gun fights and so much more! It was a beautiful day to have a field day. We met at Hebzaiba Baptist Church in Wendell- enjoyed friends and a wonderful picnic! Will miss everyone- will see them in August when Homeschool starts back!

Leah's Married!

Leah Gray Owen is now Mrs. Gary Braddy! I just can't believe this little girl has grown up and now a wife. What a beautiful wedding. My crew loves to dance. Ava had to do a wordrob change so she could dance the night away. Cullen made friends with a little girl! We had a great time- and we wish Leah and Gary many years of happiness!

this week was fun

What a great week! Strawberry patch with Cullen's preschool, snowcones, Pullen's Park, visting baby Brody, church, playdate with friends.....I love these days!
