how old are you Cullen?
If you ask Cullen how old he is going to be next week he will say "2". When I tell him he will be 3, he is not having any of that- He wants to stay 2..... Don't we all wish we could stay 2.....
Road Trip!

The Evans Family Loves a road trip... We take one often so the kids can see new things-
We went off to Damascus, Virginia and biked on the Creepers Trail. It is a 17 mile bike path down the mountain. It is beautiful! It has a creek running down the side so you can stop at anytime and go down to the water- Ava was so excited b/c she got to find smooth rocks. We were shuttled up the mountain in a van and they dropped us off at the top. It is a wonderful family trip, lots of people were out with their kids. We got our bikes together, everyone had a snack and a potty break and we were off! 2 min. later we stopped and it went like that for a while. Needless to say 5 1/2 hours later we got to the bottom of the mountain. It was fun and the kids loved it. It was so beautiful and peaceful- Just to see the trees changing colors and hear the rushing of the water in the creek got your attention on how beautiful this world is that God has made for us to enjoy! Ava and Ethan were real troopers, Ava rode 16 1/2 miles and Ethan rode about 3 miles. All together it was 18 1/2 miles. What a way to start our FALL season. Oh, and to top the wonderful day off, on the way home we stopped at Waffle House!

me too!
Cullen's new thing to say is "Me too!"
No matter who we are talking to he will chime in and say "me too"
it is the sweetest thing...

The other night Ethan came in the kitchen and said, "The only two things I want to do is be with my family and my friends."
The other day Cullen spilled grape juice on my nice rug and it stained- I was upset and Ethan said, "Mom don't worry, you know I have $300.00 in my bank, I can buy you a new one."
God has blessed us with the most loving and caring child that I know- and I am so thankful for him!
