Las Vegas

Las Vegas

All I can say is "WOW"! What a weekend. Nathan showed me an awesome time. Vegas really surprised me- I could not get over how nice everything was and clean- the people were extremely nice - the food was the best I have ever had- even shopping was awesome- Nathan treated me like a princess- he surprised me with a Suite at the Bellagio Hotel- that was so nice I could have just stayed in the room for 4 days- the floors in the bathroom were heated! The shows were outstanding, I got to ride in a limo and the detail in every Hotel was just gorgeous-. I even road a roller coaster (not to my liking), but my husband really wanted me too- We got our feet massaged that was Heavenly! The first day we went to casino- I am really not a gambler, I could just take my money and go buy new shoes- no need to take the chance losing it- but we went to a blackjack table and I lost $55.00- I was just about done for the weekend but Nathan showed me the craps table- now that was exciting- I rolled the dice - had no clue what I was doing but I must have been doing good b/c people that were playing were happy-but then I rolled a 7 and the man beside me lost about a thousand dollars, I felt so bad- I always got nervous when I rolled b/c I did not want to loose any ones money- see I am not a good gambler. Anyway, It was a wonderful time away- I got to spend some time with Nathan that we never get to have and remember all the reasons why I married him- he is really FUN! But the bad thing for Nathan is I really liked Vegas- so he has to take me back:) oh and how can I forget- I love NO HUMIDITY-- my hair looked great!

Vegas here we come!

Vegas here we come!

5 days until Nathan and I leave ALONE for Vegas... I can't wait to go- Just to be there and experience everything- I am so excited! And I can't wait to have Nathan all to myself- I don't have to share him with anyone!
No kids, No blackberry, No friends.....
ahhhhhh, I can't wait!

my chuckle for the day....

my chuckle for the day

tonight at dinner Nathan and I were talking about money and "my budget" that he has me on. He stopped and looked at Ava and asked her did she know what a budget was. Ava was just about to get a lesson on Money 101 from her daddy when Ethan spoke up and said I do!
And Nathan said what does budget mean? Ethan replies: "It's a bad word!"

I had to laugh b/c that's my child---

it's cullen's world and i just live in it.....

it's cullen's world and i just live in it.....

Let me start out by admitting that I spoiled all of my babies. If they cried, I picked them up, if they did not want to eat in their high chair I fed them in my lap, if they wanted to be held I held them..... Yes, it made my life hard sometimes but they are only babies once--- then I had Cullen. Oh, the third child......
He will NOT take a nap. At the most he takes two 15 min. naps a day. I can't get anything done b/c he does not take good naps like my other two did. He will sleep all night and that is a blessing. I would rather sleep than be up in the middle of the night- so I am not complaining about that- It is getting him to sleep at night that is the problem. He does not like to be rocked. He likes for me to stand up holding him and swing from side to side- for about 15 -20min. keep in mind he is 20 lbs.... I don't' have to lift weights b/c I do that every night--
Now he is 9 1/2 months old he has to see what is going on at all times so he tries to push off of me so he can get down- He hates his crib so I can't just lay him in that b/c he screams bloody murder- so tonight after swinging him 20min and he was still fighting me I put him in his crib and turned on his music/nightlight toy- he started to play with that I stood there for a while and then I thought if I go towards the door he will start to cry, so if he is happy I will just stand here. Well after about 10 min of just standing there watching him play I sat down- he looked at me to make sure he had me just where he wanted me,then he looked back at the toy so I sat there for about 10 min. and then I layed down so he could not see me- thinking any min. he will scream but he did not! About 15min. went by and he is happy with that toy and i am now thinking how can I get to the door without him seeing me? I don't think I can slide like a snake- I could possibly hurt myself so I slowly get up and go around the corner, stand for a few min. NO CRYING!!! and I get out- This was amazing-and after a few more min. he was asleep! Even though I wasted 1 hour of my life it was worth it.. NOW I know he will sit in his crib- I just have to trick him...... watch it never happen again :)

my little man turns 4

my little man turns 4

4 years ago Monday at 3:21pm my little man arrived! It was such a easy labor- so much so Nathan left me to go to work- (yes he did come back right when they broke my water)- and such a easy delivery. I think that is why Ethan is so laid back- everything with him was really easy going-and now I think where does the time go? I remember when Ethan was a baby and I rocked him to sleep and he could barely talk and he would say "sing rock, rock song mommy". He called rock a by baby the rock, rock song. And I would rock him with his night-night and he would go to sleep. tonight as I was putting him to sleep I told him this story and he told me to sing the song to him and i did-
It seems when children turn 4 they turn into little people. No longer a baby-
Now Ethan tells me how he wants his room to look, he has play dates with out me, he has things he likes and does not like- he is a little man. I have always called him my little man, not sure why-the moment I saw him that is what I called him.
Now my little man is getting bigger and my heart breaks-

thank goodness for my little helpers...

thank goodness for my little helpers....
I am so blessed to have 2 children with such kind hearts. Today I was running around the house trying to get caught up on all my chores and get the house presentable for our family to come over tomorrow to celebrate Ethan's birthday- Ethan and Ava came downstairs and noticed me going a bit crazy and they asked if they could help! So I was thinking what could I let them do where nothing gets broken- wash windows!!! They loved it- I only wanted them to wash the front door windows but they decided to do the whole house, which was great b/c it gave them something to do and they knew they were being helpers. After that Ethan wanted to help me mop- and so I let him do that- Cullen tried to help me fold clothes but every time I put a folded piece of laundry in the basket.... he took it out:)
Thank you God for blessing me with children that love to help and have such kind hearts! I am so thankful!

no time, no time, no time....

no time, no time, no time......
I have so many things I want to post, but no time....
I have so many chores I need to be doing, but no time....
I have so many "to do" notes on my "to do" list, but no time.....
uhhhhhhhhh! Where does all my time go?
