cullen kisses

what a week.....
I have to take a min. to vent. I don't like to complain b/c that never makes things better- I am just so tired. Ava started voice camp this week, 2 hours a day she is at Kindermusik and loving it- Ethan started swim lessons and Ava has swim team practise every day plus a meet. The problem is none of these things are back to back- So I am packing up 3 kids each time. Not to mention hoping my teething baby will not wake up from his nap going and coming - Cullen has gotten up every morning before 6am due to his top teeth coming in and I have been staying up late with Nathan at night b/c 9pm is about the only time I get to see him and talk. On top of all that Cullen started crawling- he is into everything. I am out of outlet covers so I have to go back and get more- Allyson you were so right- my world just got turned upside down now he is moving- I can't do anything-
And when am I going to get to my to do list that keeps getting longer and longer----
did I mention I am so tired..... and it is only wednesday!
what a week!
happy 4th!
We went to the mudcat game for the 4th! Family and Friends joined us. I have not been to a Mudcat game since I worked there my Senior Year in High School-so, so many years ago-Nathan got a suite so we could all be together and relax while watching the game and fireworks. Ava called it our "hotel room"- Muddy even came to visit and boy was my little guy happy! I told Ava and Ethan a long time ago before I met daddy when I was in High School I dated Muddy the Mudcat but not this Muddy- well Ethan could not understand how that was possible since Muddy is a big Catfish- but Ava understood and thought it was cool-Ethan loves going to the baseball game- he will sit there and watch the game, he even knows to take his hat off when we sing the national anthem. Ava enjoyed herself too- drinking Pepsi and dancing to the music what more can a little girl ask for?
Fun times!
interesting conversation at dinner
tonight at dinner I heard an interesting conversation between Ethan and Ava:
(changing name to protect the innocent just in case)
Ethan: "That grl "Amy" in my class, her mean to me and my friend."
Ava: "What did she do to you?"
Ethan: "Her kick me and stick out her tongue at me."
Ava: "Well we don't do that, this is what you need to do. Go to her and say in a nice voice "Amy, kicking and sticking your tongue out at me is not kind. Please don't do it anymore."
Don't say it in a mean way like this,"AMY YOU ARE MEAN AND BAD AND RUDE!"
and don't ball up your fist and hit her in the nose.
Ethan: "ok"
the loves of my life

What a name, what a girl! When she sings people stop to listen, when she laughs you have to laugh too. Ava, you are an angel with the sweetest heart but you can stand on your own (you got a lot of your daddy in you!) You are very smart and eager to learn- I am not sure I know any 5 year old that can play chess and actually win! Your beauty is breathtaking and your smile melts my heart- You are my angel and I love you!
My little man. You are the most kind hearted little boy I know- You could not hurt a fly. This is the first picture I have of you in about a year smiling when you see a camera you get so serious. You are so quiet and shy and you always say, "Mom, I need to give you a big hug and kiss." I love the little cute things you say- "Mom when am I going to change 4?" You are so innocent and loving- Tonight you looked at Cullen and said "Cullen, you are my best friend!" I know that came straight from your heart- you will always be my little man! I love you.
Oh, that smile gets me every time! You know you have me wrapped around your little finger- I can't stand to hear you cry, it breaks my heart. I love getting "Cullen kisses", you open your mouth wide and drool starts to drop and then you just attack! Your laugh is so sweet - I love when you get in bed with me in the morning and we snuggle- You are so happy. Daddy calls you "smiley" because you are always smiling- you love being outside and getting attention- (just like your sister). I love you with all my heart!
oh how could I forget nathan...... so many things I could say, some I can't blog about:) but to keep it short and sweet..you are my best friend and I love you!
oh, blonde bear......
your happy little world as you know it is coming to an end. Nursing whenever you want will be no more. Yes, I have started to wean Cullen- and today was a battle. I will admit I have spoiled him- so I can't get upset when he throws one of his "evans' fits" and sticks out his bottom lip. I wanted to give in b/c he was so pitiful- but I did not and he finally took the bottle of formula.
