HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Last night Nathan and I were watching home videos of Ava when she was 2 and when Ethan was born. I just can not believe how the time goes by so fast. I am trying hard to slow down and not take my time with Cullen for granted, b/c I know very soon he will be up and running. Every year I get out my planner and start planning for the year... this year is different. Nathan says not knowing what the year will hold for us makes our life more interesting... I have a hard time thinking that way b/c I am a planner. I hope and pray this is a good year for everyone! No matter what 2009 brings, as long as I have my Faith and my Family it will be just fine.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Rude
My husband just informed me that I am rude b/c I did not send out Christmas Cards this year. Believe me I feel terrible and I tried to get it together- I am a very organized person and I am a planner so this is really not like me, I must be in the "black hole", Michelle spoke about in her blog. With all the sickness and everything else going on- I am give out plus I ran out of time-
with all that said, I apologize if you sent me a Christmas card and you did not receive one from me. I really do like you and I am not being a rude person-
Next holiday New Years..... hope I can get one out in time........
Who said having 3 was easy???
Just getting home from the doctors office,, this is my 4th time this week,
they know me so well now when they see me coming they don't even ask what my name is, they already have my children's files pulled.-
1 cold, 1 with double ear infection and bronchitis, 1 with double ear infection- not to mention a husband that is sick..... I guess I would be sick by now but I am too busy running around cleaning up throw up b/c they could not quite make it to the potty, while the other one just makes it in time to the potty with an upset tummy and needs help plus a screaming 2 month old hungry and needing to be changed.....I think I brushed my teeth today but I can't remember.....

"my brain knows everything"

These days when I have conversations with my husband in front of the kids, I have to spell my words, so little ears will not understand,,, well those days are quickly coming to an end.
The other night at dinner I was trying to plan a quiet night with Nathan, so I was telling him we need to put the kids to bed E A R L Y,
all of the sudden Ava said, " I know what you spelled.. early, why do you want us to go to bed early?" Nathan and I just looked at each other in amazement- I said "how did you know what I spelled?" and she replied
"Mom, my brain knows everything"! and that was that, what else could I say. She is very grown for her age and I never know what she will say. As you will see in the picture below she is at the stage where she only wants certain people in her room-poor ethan....

my ethan....

this morning it was just ethan and myself, well cullen too but he stays quiet for the most part.. this never happens that ethan and I have time alone. it was so nice to talk to him and listen to what he had to say, he is so silly and makes me laugh- he does not get to talk much b/c ava takes after her mother and talks all the time, even in her sleep. poor ethan can never get a word in. he felt so special today b/c it was just him and he could say whatever he wanted and talk about whatever he wanted to. i went up to his room and there it was... he has done this before and the first time I saw it I went to get Nathan, we thought maybe there was something wrnog with him, but since then I have heard my friend Michelle say her little boy Cole who is the same age does it too along with other moms... taking out all there trucks, tractors, cars, you name it and lining them up.... so now we know it is just his age..he works very hard to do this and he gets out every little car, truck, etc. that he can find, which can fill up his whole room- he says they are lined up to get gas for the race. this race is small b/c he did nothave time to get all of them out b/c he had to go to school...

he is getting so big- i am having a hard time with my children growing up, everyday goes by faster and faster. but ethan will always be my little man!

here are a few quotes from ethan wallace:

"i will miss you at my school"

"i will call you at there with my cell phone"

"i just love my baby in the whole world"

"my baby is so special"

"next week i be thirt-en, just like Dalton"

Nathan: "Ethan do you think mommy can whoop me?"

Ethan: "well mommy is a good whooper"

Mommy: "where does jacob live?"

Ethan: "jacob live on left"

Mommy: "you are right Ethan, how did you know that?"

Ethan: "cause I smart"

"i want a rocktar for christmas"
